Reiki is a gentle hands-on healing-touch technique. Children will learn about their inner healing energy through Reiki during this fun and interactive program. The workshop is conducted in a child friendly environment. Through story telling, physical play, and art children will learn about their energy fields and how they can use Reiki in their daily lives.

It is ideal for children because in the process of learning Reiki, they learn about their inner healing energy, about their bodies energy fields, their inner spirit, their personal power and their connection to the universal Life force which surrounds us all and is universal love.

Children will get in touch with subtle energy and learn simple methods of using Reiki.

1. Learning the qualities of compassion, patience, goodness, understanding and unconditional love
2. Boosting Self Esteem
3. Learning to get along with others
4. Embracing one’s natural ability to self-heal
5. Calming down and soothing emotions
6. Raising a “spiritual” child

This workshop teaches the basics of Reiki on a “kid level.” They leave with everything they need to work with energy healing, including:

• What is energy?
• What is Reiki
• How does it work?
• What are Chakras?
• The History and Principles of Reiki
• Hand positions for self-healing and healing treatments with others
• Meditation
• Level One Reiki attunement
• Working with healing energy
• Sound and healing  (solfeggio tuning forks, singing bowls, Hemisync)
• Crystals, color and light

Reiki for children was created to provide information for children interested in learning about energy, hoping that the parents will offer encouragement and support on their child’s journey.

The Center is affiliated with the Reiki Kids center in Canada who have been teaching children for years We teach to their standards and are also using their Reiki Kids manual. This class is in 1 day. There is ongoing support for those who wish continued support. This is a Kids Reiki I certification course. You will receive  attunement, Certificate and Manual and ongoing support.
