She died a few years later\, and he soon embarked on a plan to preserve this 9 acres he calls Gossamer Wood. \nGossamer\, as in the sense of floating the name of this healing retreat center evokes\, he said. \n“There is energy here like you wouldn’t believe\,” Dewey said. “I think it’s the best-kept secret in Canandaigua.
